My name is Marshall, and I'm the host of The Real HT Info Podcast.

I've been interested in Home Audio and Home Theater since I was a teenager in the 90s putting together my first stereo system unsing an old 8 track player as an amp, and a portable CD player for source. My first 5.1 system found it's way into my college dorm during my Junior year, which was a big deal at the time. Since then, I've had an appreciation for budget Home Theater and have been trying to find ways to get more performance for less money.

The Real HT Info is my attempt at making my experience available to others.

"Real HT Info is a podcast dedicated to cutting through the nonsense and making better sound and video available to everyone interested in Home Theater. We're here for those on a limited budget, those with less than ideal spaces (small apartments, college dorms, non-dedicated rooms), and those that are tired of being sold an inferior product because they were tricked by marketing hype.. We'll show you how to get the best bang for your buck without getting trapped in a "cheaper is better" mindset, and all the little tricks to help you squeeze extra performance out of your current system for next to nothing. And, in case you're wondering what to watch and listen to, well review great content for your system."
