Blu-ray still has a lead in the number of titles, but don't forget, that for a couple extra $$, you can get Blu-ray only titles on HD-DVD from abroad.

«» Toshiba HD-A2 Review: Nice, but not all Good News. (x:xx)
The Good: Great HD Playback, noticable improvement in picture AND sound (even downsampled to 1.5mbps DTS). If you like the available titles, well worth the $99, at $170 worth considering, at $199, think it over a little harder.
The Bad: Standard Def DVD playback is middle of the road, and pales in comparison to my Oppo 981 (verified using the HQV disc). Wouldn't recommend for SD unless you have soft eyes, or already own a good upconverter.
The Ugly: Flip door on DVD tray broke after LESS THAN 2 HOURS OF USE. Player still works, but is now splayed open like the Catch of the Day. Best Buy tells me to talk to Toshiba, Toshiba requires I mail it in (cost about $15). 15% of purchase price spent in repair after 2 hours...I'll let you know how this turns out.
A2 is Discontinued. Check out the new A3:
