«» Home Theater Loan? Credit Cards?
(1:36)
Some banks are now offering Home Theater Loans, similar to a Home Improvement Loan. But a Home Improvemt adds value to your home, often a wise investment if you plan on selling. What about Home Theaters? Do they add, or subtract from the value of your home, and are they worth going into debt for?

And what about credit cards, including the Best Buy card?

My take: Spend more time on your system, not more money. Value equipment, properly setup, sounds better than poorly setup high-end equipment.

«» Single Speaker Surround: Polk and Yamaha (9:56)
Polk Surroundbar ($600)
Produces a generic surround sound wash without decent stereo seperation or localized surround channels, and still requires a surround receiver and subwoofer. Take a pass.

Yamaha YSP-1100 BL ($1500)
I give this product a "Thumbs Up" if you simply must have a single speaker solution, but for the money, consider a 2.1 setup instead.

Want Dolby Virtual Speaker and Dolby Headphone in a receiver? Look for Harmon Kardon's AVR line on ebay and in stores.

«» Smokin' Aces (23:42)
2 out of 5 stars:
10 minutes into the movie, I tried pretending it was a cartoon. It didn't work.
